Layoutly ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our AI interior design application.

Data Collection

We collect minimal data necessary to provide the service. This includes photos you upload for design generation, basic device information for app functionality, and anonymous usage analytics. We do not collect personal identification information unless you create an account.

Photo Processing

Photos you upload are sent to our servers for AI processing. Images are used solely to generate your design visualizations and are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of processing. We do not use your photos for training AI models or share them with third parties.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. Analytics data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users. No data is shared with advertising networks.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide our application: cloud infrastructure providers for hosting and processing, AI model providers for design generation, and payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play) for in-app purchases. Each provider has their own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

Data Retention

Uploaded photos are deleted within 24 hours of processing. Generated design images are stored in your account for as long as your account is active. Account data is retained until you request deletion. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form indefinitely.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can request a copy of your data or ask for your account to be deleted by contacting us. We will respond to data requests within 30 days. Users in the EU have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to restrict processing.
